Retelling

Retelling is a piece made in collaboration with Roko Crnić designed for a specific space – Libespace gallery, based in Jurišićeva Street hallway in Zagreb. The piece consists of collected impressions and memories of its occasional visitors or users like dancers who use it as a studio, or even the impressions of the building’s residents. The collected text is fragmented and made into phrases which are installed in the space. The sentences make references to certain spots and reconstruct some events that took place in the hallway. The installation also consists of audio work that reconstructs these events by displacing the narration and narrators.
